McWane Center-A Job Well Done!

Thanks to all the chaperones! I gave a list to each chaperone asking them to please make sure students experienced certain things in the McWane Center. It was the first time I'd asked chaperones to do so, and you parents really stepped up to the challenge! Parents, you helped your child experience "hands on" some of the things we've talked about in school. I saw kids reporting the weather, digging for fossils, standing inside a tornado, completing physics activities, and touching sharks! Well done!

The kids talked non-stop about our trip for days! I rewarded all of that good behavior and great thinking with some small treasures from the souvenier shop. Each child received a nuggat of "fool's gold," a polished stone, and an animal figure.
